Posting photos from your photographer on Instragram

Did you just get your photos back from your photographer, and can't wait to share them?

Hold up! Before you hit post, double check all of the settings. Here are few things to keep in mind:

• Do not apply any filters, or adjustments to the photos. Your photographer worked hard on the edits, and modifying the photos takes away from the hard work that they put in.
• Double check the rotation, and orientation of your photos. If you have a combination of horizontal and vertical photos, make sure you double check those settings before hitting the upload button! There is an option to change it to portrait, square, and mixed. I always prefer 'mixed' as this will work with the different sized photos you are working with. See the example below!
• Lastly, always make sure to tag your photographer and leave them a review. These small gestures mean the world to small businesses!
